This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. A major part of this manuscript is severely damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible, thus it is difficult to determine the exact age and author of the original manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801 -1899. This manuscript starts with Pirama muṉivar karukkaṭai cūttiram. It also mentions about pills, balms, medicinal powders, oils, medicinal patches, the role of water in curing diseases. The protective cover is made up of ebony and it also has designs in it.
