வள்ளியம்மாணை

This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled ‘Vaḷḷiyam'māṇai’ from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. This manuscript is written by Tampippōṭi katirkāmappōṭi on January 1920. This manuscript owned by Nōñcippōṭi vēlāyutam. ‘Vaḷḷiyam'mmāṇai’ is about songs that describes the marriage of Lord Muruga with Valli. The songs are written in am'māṇai mettu. The manuscript starts with the words “Centivaṭi vēlmurukar ceyyaḷaiyāḷ vaḷḷitaṉai vintaiyuṭaṉ vaṉapputtil vēṭṭa katai". This manuscript contains 238 pages and letters are clear to read.
