This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Kondavil, Sri Lanka. The manuscript has some loss and is damaged, and is estimated to be from the 18-20th century. The original text is written by Parañcōti Muṉivar and is one of the ancient Hindu puranas/ mythological stories centred around Madurai. The original text is from the 16th century and is divided into three major sections and consists of 64 stories. This particular manuscript provides a commentary to the original text.
