This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Kondavil, Jaffna, Sri Lanka. It is a family archival record of the birth chart of Citamparappiḷḷai. It is representative of birth charts used by Tamil Hindus in Sri Lanka. A major part of this manuscript is severely damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible, thus it is difficult to determine the exact age of the original manuscript.
