This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled ‘Periya Vaḷḷiyam'māṇai’ from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. This manuscript is written by Kantappōṭi son of Mārkkaṇṭappōṭiyār to his daughter Intirāṇi. It is written on 20th October 1969. ‘Vaḷḷiyam'mmāṇai’ is about songs that describes the birth and marriage of Lord Muruga with Valli. The songs are written in am'māṇai mettu. This manuscript contains 250 pages and letters are clear to read. The protective cover is made up of palmyrah. The manuscript is in good condition. Extent: 250.0.
