This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled “Vaikunta am'māṇai” from the Eastern region, Sri Lanka. It is related to Mahabharata. The manuscript written by Ka.Pa.Nākaṇṭāppōṭi was on the date 29th month Thai (January) year Viṣa varuṭam (name of the year). The manuscript contains the stories after the Kurukshetra war. It is described that Pandavas understood the brutality of war and the illusion of human life. Therefore, they handover the kingdom to person named Paricittu. The last song is Vāḻttu (greetings). It is greeting the Sunthara printing press. Therefore, it might be copied from a book from this printing press. The manuscript has 322 pages. The first two pages and last two pages are damaged.
