This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled Ariccantiraṉ katai, from Eastern region, Sri Lanka. It is written by K.U.Katheeresapillai son of Kanapathy Upathiyar. It is difficult to determine the exact age of manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801 -1899 This manuscript contains the story of Ariccantiraṉ. It contain details about how Ariccantiraṉ handled the struggles created by Vicuvāmittirar. The manuscript is in good condition. The writings are clear and the protective cover is made up of neem.
