Handwritten transcription of songs from various sources

In this notebook of songs, Debdas Baul’s youngest son Uttam Das Baul has written down songs as dictated by Debdas. Some songs were taken from the late Tarak Das Baul, while some songs were taken from Uttam Das’ Guru Gosain, whose akhra is at Kopai, Birbhum Some songs written towards the end of the notebook are not Mahajani Songs but popular folk songs, learnt from different places and copied. The first pages of the note-book have been used as an agenda to note down people's personal contact numbers, these have been redacted so that the images can go online. Extent: 1 Notebook.
