དཔེ་ཆ

A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Written in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. A long and detailed amchi text, roughly translated as the "Tangti scholar’s precious instructions and golden measurement". གྲང་ཏི་མཁས་པའི་མན་ངག་གསེར་བྲེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། A text describing the nature use and efficacy of Tibetan medicines. The first section of thirteen folios is the table of contents. གསེར་བྲེའི་དཀར་ཆག་བཞུགས་སོ།.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of 313 folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 31 cm x 7 cm.

Condition of original material: Good condition for its age.

Custodial history: All items handed down from grandfather to father to son for over six generationsand probably many more.

Arrangement: All items are kept in the prayer room of Chherring Dorje (not seen).
