དཔེ་ཆ

A woodblock printed unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. བདུད་རྩི་སྨན་གྱི་རྣམ་དབྱེ་ངོ་བོ་ནུས་མིང་རྒྱས་པར་བཤད་པ་དྲི་མེད་ཤེལ་ཕྲེང་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། A text describing the wide variety, the differing qualities and the many names of the plants used in the whole range of Tibetan amchi medicines. In modern print versions this text and text EAP1221_KBR_CD_TXT-6 are combined and known as ཤེལ་གོང་ཤེལ་ཕྲེང། (Crystal ball and crystal rosary)(Crystal ball ཤེལ་གོང། crystal rosary ཤེལ་ཕྲེང།).

Extent: One unbound book consisting of 211 folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 54 cm x 9 cm.

Condition of original material: Yellow highlighter throughout.

Custodial history: All items handed down from grandfather to father to son for over six generationsand probably many more.

Arrangement: All items are kept in the prayer room of Chherring Dorje (not seen).
