དཔེ་ཆ

A woodblock printed unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. བདུད་རྩི་སྙིང་པོ་ཡན་ལག་བརྒྱད་པ་ལས་མན་ངག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལས་དུམ་བུ་དང་པོ་རྩ་བའི་རྒྱུད་ཅེས་བཞུགས་སོ། The first tantra of the four medical tantras, the four main texts for Tibetan doctors (amchi). The first tantra is called the root tantra.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of 34 folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 54 cm x 9 cm.

Condition of original material: In very good condition for its age. Some slight discolouration to paper edges.

Custodial history: All items handed down from grandfather to father to son for over six generationsand probably many more.

Arrangement: All items are kept in the prayer room of Chherring Dorje (not seen).
