དཔེ་ཆ

A red cloth bound Tibetan text on modern paper. Handwritten in "headless " Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script, 30-40 years ago. 27.5 x 11 opening to 49 x 11 cm. A collection of gathering songs Dzum lu (tib. འཛོམ་གླུ Wylie. 'dzum glu).

Extent: One book consisting of 15 folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 27.5 x 11 opening to 49 x 11 cm.

Condition of original material: Some discolouration of pages and some faded ink, though the writing is legible throughout.

Arrangement: A collection of texts kept in a box within the prayer room of the owner. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
