A single folio, once folded into eight, handwritten in "headless " Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script, on old handmade paper, now mounted onto yellow plastic, 44 x 32 cm approx. The text consists of advice to the bride from the Nya hon and local Spiti sayings. About how to respect lamas, about the basic of karma , respecting parents, sharing food, not gossiping or slandering or sharing secrets, not showing that you dislke people in public.

Extent: One manuscript consisting of a single folio once folded into eight.

Size and dimensions of original material: The folio is 44 cm x 32 cm approx.

Condition of original material: The original text was once folded into eight and is now mounted onto yellow plastic. There is very significant wear round the page edges nd folds. Some text is missing but the majority still in place and fully legible.

Arrangement: A collection of texts kept in a box within the prayer room of the owner. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
