དཔེ་ཆ

An untitled handwritten Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless " Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. Folios 29.5 cm x 9 cm stitched together with thread, opening to 29.5 cm x 18 cm. A collection of songs including bird songs Zhung Lu. (Tib. གཞུང་གླུ Wylie. gzhung glu ); songs for the four seasons; and receiving songs su lu (Tib. བསུ་གླུ་ Wylie. bsu glu ).

Extent: One book consisting of 10 folded folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 29.5 cm x 18 cm folding to 29.5 cm x 9 cm.

Condition of original material: Cover pages very worn through usage, some fading of ink but the text is legible throughout.

Arrangement: A collection of texts kept in a box within the prayer room of the owner. It is almost certain that the text was created in Tibet.
