Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 29.5 cm x 8 cm.
Condition of original material: Paper edges damaged by mice and by handling Some staining throughout. Text fully legible.
Custodial history: The older material has been handed down from father to son for at least four generations.
Arrangement: All the material is stored in the prayer room (not seen) and was brought out to be measured and digitised. It is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question has been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
