A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Untitled. Written in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. A parka text ( སྤར་ཁ) . A chowa ritual addressing an individual's problems relating to their parka, elements of their astrological chart perhaps diagnosed by lama སྤར་ཁའི་ཆོ་ག་བཞུགས་སོ།.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of four folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 37 cm x 7.5 cm.

Condition of original material: Darkened through usage throughout. Page damage from folding.

Custodial history: The older material has been handed down from father to son for at least four generations.

Arrangement: All the material is stored in the prayer room (not seen) and was brought out to be measured and digitised. It is kept in boxes when travelling. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
