དཔེ་ཆ

A woodblock printed Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. A text for a vase ceremony. Perhaps a resume of many such texts as narrated by the Panchen Lama. ༄༅། །པན་ཆེན་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་གསུང་ཐོར་བུམ་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡེབས་པ་རྣམས་བཞུགས་སོ།.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of eleven folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 10 cm x 57cm.Condition of original material: Wear and staining. Some damaged pages and lost text.

Arrangement: Loose texts kept in the prayer room in a cardboard box. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
