དཔེ་ཆ

A woodblock printed unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper in "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. An amchi (Tibetan medical) text entitled: གསོ་དཔྱད་མུ་ཏིག་ཕྲེང་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། གསོ་དཔྱད་ science of medicine, method of treatment of disease. མུ་ཏིག་ཕྲེང་བ། rosary of pearls.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of fourteen folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio 53 cm x 9 cm.

Condition of original material: Cover page damaged. Some staining and wrinking from damp.Printed text is heavy or smudged on some pages but mainly legible throughout.

Custodial history: Material handed down from the current owner's father.

Arrangement: A series of amchi (Tibetan medical) texts, kept in the owner's prayer room.
