དཔེ་ཆ

A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. A prayer for the three kayas (a sanskrit term for the three forms of embodiment of a Buddha: chos skyu; longs skyu and sprul sku). Folded folios simply stiched and covered in brown cloth. ༄༅། །སྐུ་གསུམ་གསོལ་འདེབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་བུམ་བཟང་བཞུཌ་སོ།་.

Extent: One book consisting of four folios.Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 16 cm x 26 cm, folding to 8 cm x 26 cm.

Condition of original material: Good condition for its age.

Arrangement: Texts and ritual objects kept in boxes in the prayer room (not seen). The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
