A woodblock printed, unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Printed in " headed " Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. A very substantial and very detailed astrological text full of charts, diagrams and other illustrations. ཕུག་ལུགས་རྩིས་ཀྱི་ལེགས་བཤད་མཁས་པའི་མགུལ་རྒྱན་བེེཌཱུརྱ་དཀར་པོའི་དོ་ཤལ་དཔྱོད་ལྡན་སྙིང་ནོར་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ།.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of 634 folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 59.5 cm x 11 cm.
Condition of original material: Excellent condition for its age. The text is rather lightly printed on very thin paper, with substantial see through. Some staining from water and wrinkling from damp. Some general marking from usage too. Nevertheless the text is full legible throughout.
Custodial history: Handed down to Thinley Namgyal through his family from his grandfather and probably great grandfather before him.
Arrangement: System of arrangement unknown. It seems that this might well be from a substantial collection. However it was the only material we were permitted to see and digitise. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet.
