A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. Instructions for achieving the protection of the deity བཀའ་སྲུང་གཟའ་བདུད against demonic forces. བཀའ་བསྲུངས་གཟའ་བདུད་ཀྱི་སྒྲུབ་ཐབས་གྱེར་གསོལ་བཞུགས་སོ།.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of eleven folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 42 cm x 8 cm.
Condition of original material: Severe damage to final folio.
Arrangement: All the material was kept in a box in the prayer room (unseen). The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
