དཔེ་ཆ

A woodblock printed Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. A guidebook of the protector deity (Tib. བཀའ་སྲུང་ལྕམ་དྲལ Wylie. bka' srung lcam dral) A single chapter from the larger volume of text named in first title ཀློང་ཆེན་སྙིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེ་ལས། བཀའ་སྲུང་ལྕམ་དྲལ་གནས་ཡིག་བཞུགས་སོ།.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of eleven folios.

Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 37 cm x 8 cm.

Arrangement: All the material was kept in a box in the prayer room (unseen). The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
