A woodblock printed Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. In "headed" Tibetan dbu chen (Uchen) script. A substantial but untitled amchi medical text.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of 144 folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 19 cm x 8.5 cm.
Condition of original material: Good condition for its age. The last folio damaged though with no loss of text.
Arrangement: Kept in the prayer room of Urgyen Tsewang (not seen). The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
