A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. The text for a wrathful tantric ritual to expel negative forces. Title is གུ་རུ་དྲག་པོ་ཐེམ་མདོ་ལས། སྒྲལ་ལས་བསད་པ་ལས་བཅུ་པ་བཞུགས་སོ། The first section of the title is the overall text, from which the section is taken. It refers to the deity Guru Dragpo a wrathful form of Guru Rinpoche. The second section of the title indicates that this is chapter ten from a longer text. བསྒྲལ་ལས་བསད་པ་ལས་བཅུ་པ་བཞུགས་སོ། བསྒྲལ expel / liberate བསྒྲལ་ལས kill an enemy by the wrathful application of the karma of destroying བསད་པ kill.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of eleven folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 44 cm x 9 cm. Arrangement: All the material is kept within the owner's prayer room (not seen). The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date
