དཔེ་ཆ

A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. The text for a long life cermony. Performed primarily by full monks in monasteries. ཚེ་སྒྲུབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕྲེང་བའི་རྒྱུན་ཁྱེར་འཆི་མེད་ཐིག་ལེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ།.

Extent: One unbound book consisting of three folios. Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 29.5 cm x 8 cm.Condition of original material: Text darkened through age and usage. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date
