A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. Chapter nine of a substantial astrological text with many chapters. རྣམ་ཐར་གྲུབ་མཐའི་རྩིས་གཞུང་མན་ངག་སྐབས་དགུ་དང་དུས་ཀྱིས་སྦྱོར་བ་མེ་ལོང་མངོན་ཤེས་མིའི་ལུགས་བཞུགས་སོ།.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of four folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 40.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
Condition of original material: red ink blotches on several pages. Tables on the last folio. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
