A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. A text about the disposal of the body after death. གཤིན་དུར་མཛོད་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཡོད། གཤིན means dead body དུར means grave or graveyard མཛོད means store.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of seven folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 41.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
Condition of original material: Text stained in several places. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
