A handwritten unbound Tibetan text (pecha) on handmade paper. Handwritten in "headless" Tibetan dbu med (Ume) script. A chowa ritual called gu mik (དགུ་མིག་) which means nine eyes). The title of the text is hard to read but perhaps དགུ་དམིགས་ནས་འདོན་འདྲོ་བཞུགས་སྷོ།.
Extent: One unbound book consisting of five folios.
Size and dimensions of original material: Each folio is 41 cm x 8 cm.
Condition of original material: Staining and discolouration through age. Some pages damaged.
Arrangement: All material is kept in the prayer room. The precise country of origin is unknown. However it is almost certain that the original text was created in Tibet, though the specific material in question may have been copied locally in Spiti (India) at a later date.
