This work Kambaramayanam of Kambar has six divisions as Bala, Ayothiya, Aranya, Kishkinda, Sundara and Yuddha kandas with 123 chapters. It depects the life of Rama in Tamil languages. This manuscript has 12 chapters from mantra chapter to thiruvadisootu padalam with 1205 stanzas. This manuscript has the chapter Ayothiya kanda, which tells the story of stoping the coronation by the servant maid manthara. This manuscript starts with leaf no 86. பால காண்டம், அயோத்தியா காண்டம், ஆரண்யக் காண்டம், கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம், சுந்தர காண்டம், யுத்தக் காண்டம் ஆக ஆறு காண்டங்களையும் 123 படலங்களையும் கொண்ட இராமபிரானின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை கம்பர் படைத்துள்ளார். இச்சுவடி, மந்திரப் படலம் தொடங்கி திருவடி சூட்டுப் படலம் ஈறாக 12 படலங்களில் 1205 பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. இராமன் கோசலை நாட்டின் மன்னனாக முடிசூட்டப்படுவதற்கான செய்தி அறிந்த கைகேயின் பணிப்பெண்ணான மந்தரை அதனைத் தடுக்க சூழ்ச்சி செய்து இராமனுக்கு முடிசூடுதல் நிறுத்தப்படுகிறது. இராமன் வனவாசம் சென்றுவிடுகிறான். இக்கதையினை அயோத்தியா காண்டம் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது. ஏட்டெண் 86இல் நூல் தொடங்குகிறது.
