கம்பராமாயணம் : கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம்

This work Kambaramayanam of Kambar has six divisions as Bala, Ayothiya, Aranya, Kishkinda, Sundara and Yuddha kandas with 123 chapters. It depects the life of Rama in Tamil languages. This manuscript has 16 chapters from pambaivavi chapter to mausyentra padalam with 1053 stanzas. This manuscript dealt with the story of Rama and Lakshmana searching sita, the met hanuman, sukreevan etc, of Kishkinda kandam. This manuscript starts with leaf no 280. பால காண்டம், அயோத்தியா காண்டம், ஆரண்யக் காண்டம், கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம், சுந்தர காண்டம், யுத்தக் காண்டம் ஆக ஆறு காண்டங்களையும் 123 படலங்களையும் கொண்ட இராமபிரானின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை கம்பர் படைத்துள்ளார். இச்சுவடி, பம்பை வாவிப் படலம் தொடங்கி மசூயேந்திரப் படலம் ஈறாக 16 படலங்களில் 1053 பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. சீதையைப் பிரிந்து இராமன், அவனது சகோதரர்கள் தேடி அலைகின்றனர். வழியில் கிட்கிந்தை என்னும் வானரங்கள் ஆளும் நாட்டைச் சென்றடைகின்றனர். அங்கே அனுமன், சுக்கீவன் ஆகியோரின் நட்பைப் பெறுகின்றனர். பிறகு சுக்ரீவனின் சகோதரனான வாலியைக் கொன்று கிட்கிந்தையின் ஆட்சிப் பொறுப்பை சுக்கீரவனுக்குத் தருகின்றனர். இக்கதையினைக் கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது. ஏட்டெண் 280இல் நூல் தொடங்குகிறது.
