This work Naladiyar has four lines and in three parts as Arathuppal. Porutpal, Kamaththuppal as in Thirukkural. It was written by Four hundred Jain saints and chaptered by pathumanar. It belongs to 250 A. D., and Leaf nos.11, 12, 18, 20-22, 24, 25, 27-29, 33, 35-64, 67, 68,and 70-72 are missing. அறத்துப்பால், பொருட்பால், காமத்துப்பால் எனும் முப்பிரிவுகளை உடையது நாலடியார். திருக்குறள் இரண்டு அடிகளில் சொல்ல, நாலடியார் நான்கு அடிகளில் நானூறு சமண முனிவர்கள் பாடிய வெண்பாக்களின் தொகுப்பாகும். நாலடியாரைத் தொகுத்து, அதிகாரம் வகுத்தவர் பதுமனார். முப்பாலாகப் பகுத்தவர் தருமர். இதன் காலம் சங்கம் மருவிய கி.பி.250 ஐ ஒட்டியது. ஏட்டெண் 11, 12, 18, 20-22, 24, 25, 27-29, 33, 35-64, 67, 68, 70-72ஆம் ஏடுகள் இல்லை.
