மாரவேந்திரன் கதை

This manuscript narrates the story of Maravendan son of Indran by the blessing of Lord Siva. It starts with leaf no 2. இந்திரன் குழந்தைப்பேறு வேண்டி சிவபெருமானை பூசிக்கின்றான்.  சிவபெருமான் அருளால் பசுவின் வயிற்றில் பெருமாள் குழந்தையாகப் பிறக்கின்றான்.  அவனுக்கு மாரவேந்தன் என்று பெயர் சூட்டுகின்றான் இந்திரன்.  இவ்வாறு அவதரித்த மாரவேந்தனின் கதையை எடுத்துரைப்பதே இச்சுவடி.  ஏட்டெண் 2இல் நூல் தொடங்குகிறது.
