Leaves no 100-102 are missing. வடமொழி பதினெண் புராணங்களுள் 11ஆவது புராணமாக வியாசர் எழுதிய இலிங்க புராணம் உள்ளது. இதன் தமிழ் மொழிபெயர்ப்பே இந்நூல். இது, அனுக்கிரகமணி அத்தியாயம், நாரதர் நயிமிசாரணியம் அடைந்த அத்தியாயம், புராணத்தின் அளவை சொன்ன அத்தியாயம், லிங்காலிங்கம் உரைத்த அத்தியாயம், மலரோன் கால் அளவை உரைத்த அத்தியாயம், படைப்பு வகை உரைத்த அத்தியாயம் என்று மொத்தம் 44 அத்தியாயங்களைல் லிங்கபுராண வரலாற்றைக் கூறுகிறது. 100-102 ஆகிய ஏடுகள் இல்லை.
