This work Moothurai of Auvaiyar is also called as Vakundaam in 31 stanzas are in the form of Venba yappu form. This manuscript dealt with moral principles of life and has only 12 stanzas. ஔவையாரால் இயற்றப்பெற்ற ஒரு நீதி நூலே மூதுரை. இதனை வாக்குண்டாம் என்றும் அழைப்பர். கடவுள் வாழ்த்தோடு 31 வெண்பாக்களால் ஆனது. ஒவ்வொரு பாடலும் வாழ்வியலுக்குத் தேவையான நீதிக் கருத்துக்களை எடுத்தியம்புவனவாக அமைந்துள்ளது. இச்சுவடியில் 12 பாடல்கள் மட்டுமே இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
