This manuscript Thiruvembavai (the name derived from the ending of each verse with “Embavai”) of Manikkavasagar dealt praising songs on Lord Shiva in 30 stanzas. மாணிக்கவாசகர் திருவண்ணாமலையைத் தரிசிக்கும்போது சிவனுக்குத் திருத்தொண்டு செய்வதையே வரமாகத் தரவேண்டும் என்று வேண்டும் 20 பாடல்களால் ஆனது திருவெண்பாவை. எம்பாவாய் என்னும் தொடர்மொழி ஒவ்வொரு பாடலிலும் மகுடமாக வைத்துப் பாடப்பெற்ற சிறப்புக்குரியது.
