புலந்திரன் தூது

This Manuscript Pulanthiran thuthu is a sub story of the epic Mahabharata. It dealt about the story of Pulanthiran, son of Arjunan sent message to Gourav regarding his marriage. பாண்டிய நாட்டு அல்லிக்கும் அத்தினாபுர அர்ச்சுனனுக்கும் பிறந்தவன் புலந்திரன். அல்லியின் மகனான புலந்திரன் கௌரவர்களின் தங்கையான துற்சடையின் மகளான கலந்தாரியை மணந்து கொண்டதையும், பாண்டவர்களுக்கும் கௌரவர்களுக்கும் ஏற்பட்ட பகைமை காரணமாக புலந்திரனும் கலந்தாரியும் பிரிந்ததையும், கௌரவரிடம் தூது சென்றதையும், அங்க நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்வுகளையும் எடுத்துரைப்பதாக அமைந்ததே புலந்திரன் தூது.
