வாயு சங்கிதை

This Manuscript Vayu Samhita has two parts such as Poorva Kandam and Uththara Kandam. Poorva Kandam has 30 chapters with 537 stanzas and Uththtra Kandam in 30 chapters with 797 Stanzas. Poorva Kandam dealt with the formation of the Prapancham and grace of Lord Siva. The Uththara Kandam dealt with Sivalinga and its Pooja process. பூர்வ காண்டம், உத்தர காண்டம் எனும் இரண்டு காண்டங்களை உடையது வாயு சங்கிதை. பூர்வ காண்டம் 30 அத்தியாயங்களில் 537 பாடல்களும், உத்தர காண்டம் 30 அத்தியாயங்களில் 797 பாடல்களும் உள்ளன. பூர்வ காண்டத்தில் சிவபெருமானின் தன்மை, பிரபஞ்சத்தின் தோற்றம், சிவனின் அருட்செயல்கள், முனிவர்களின் மனைவிமார்கள் முதலான செய்திகளும், உத்தர காண்டத்தில் சிவன் கண்ணனுக்கு தீட்சை செய்தது, சிவலிங்கத்தின் இயல்புகள், உமாமகேசுவர பூசை, கிரியா பூசை, மாத பூசை முதலான செய்திகளும் உள்ளன.
