The file contains important information of the Estate which is located in Kasungu such as the agreement for the right of occupancy which was made on 24 September 1940 between the lands officer on behalf of the government and Arther Falconer Barron, the land in question was 94 acres witha yearly rent of one pound three shillings and six pence, some of the attachements to the agreement are maps showing boundaries of the Estate. The file also contains correspondence between the Estate Manager Arther Barron who was also at that time the ower of Mbadzi in Lilongwe and various government officials.
