Rusa Estates

The file contains map of the estate which is about 5440 acres of land, inspecton report covering information on the conservation impovements, names of the management team and the kind of crops grown on the farm which in this case was tobacco and maize. The file also had the certificate of occupancy from the Nyasaland Protectorate which was made in August 1943, the certificate was for the occupancy period of 99 years at a yearly fee of 136 pounds. There are also general correspondences bwtween the Estate and government officials.
