This is a notebook containing folk tales that are narrated in the story telling traditions of Rajasthan. These stories were narrated by Gafruddin Chatonjogi of Kathiawada, Bharatpur. The stories are written in couplet form or 'doha'. There are four stories in this collection: "Rana Sanga and Shersingh", "Roop Shehjadi", "Rani Abol de", and "Kissa Modu Saukar". Custodial history: Collection of Komal Kothari, housed at Rupayan Sansthan. Extent and format of original material: 1 notebook of 38 pages. Physical characteristics: An old hardbound notebook covered with newspaper containing handwritten text in blue and black ink. The cover has wear and tear, and all the pages have discoloration.
