[Personal diaries and notes of Komal Kothari]

This is a notebook containing notes and personal writings of Komal Kothari. A large part of the notebook contains a write-up in which Kothari describes the thought behind his work and institution, the difficulties associated with the work, people who have been a part of his work and thoughts on how to involve more people in the study of folklore. The purpose of the write-up is not mentioned. The latter part of the notebook contains a note on the celebration of 'Ganvri' and its relationship with the legend of 'Bhasmasur', followed by a 'Soor pad' which means a 'Bhajan' written by Soordas. A note on information on Sarangi and Kamaicha from Kalidasji who works with the media house, India Today. The last part of the notebook contains a long essay on 'Kabir ki Bani' based on a presentation that Kothari made at a conference.
