This is a set of documents comprising of a handwritten sheet and its typewritten copy. They contain field notes that describe a meeting with Narayan Ram Meghwal of Gadra Road about a musical instrument called 'chikaliya'. It is an earthen ware pot and it's mouth is covered with a strip of leather when being played. Beats are produced by tapping the body of 'chikaliya' using the right hand fingers and tapping a metal bowl placed to the left of the pot using the left hand fingers. Physical characteristics: Handwritten on one side of two pages turned yellow, written with blue ink. One typewritten page printed on one side sheet, which is turning yellow.
