[Personal diaries and notes of Komal Kothari]

This is a notepad containing notes an personal writings of Komal Kothari. The first few pages contain rough notes and chapterization for a publication called "Katha Kathan ki Kala: Vyavaharik Padya" which is not in Kothari's handwriting. A note on the possibility of revival of the quartz crafts in Bikaner. The notepad has also been used as a travel journal for an ethnographic trip to Gogamedi and Salasar. These entries contain a note on the Dutara of a few punjabi singers along with a sketch and extensive field notes on the performances and posession rituals at Gogamedi. The notepad also contains book lists and comments on books, rough calculations of cost, notes on cast and feudal system in Rajasthan, a table of grains and their flour and uses, and a sketch of the Narh flute of Rajasthan.
