[Personal diaries and notes of Komal Kothari]

This is diary containing notes and personal writings of Komal Kothari. The first page say "Banswara", which is a district in southern Rajasthan, however the notebook contains notes on a number of other villages and districts visited by Kothari. The notebook contains mostly contact information of artists and musicians along with the name of their art including a small note on Fada Khan Manganiar, a proponent of Dingal Kavita, from Khudi, Jaisalmer. Contact information of funders, contributors and researchers including that of Gerard Busquet who at the time was a correspondent of Le Figaro newspaper and later worked on Rajasthan. The diary has also been used as a daily journal recording interactions with various communities among other things.
