[Personal diaries and notes of Komal Kothari]

This is a notebook containing notes and personal writings of Komal Kothari. The notebook is dedicated to an ethnographic survey of Borunda village of Rajasthan. The first few pages contain lists of castes and communities, their population in the village and other information required for the research. The rest of the notebook contains sparate notes on various castes, occupations and rituals in the village. The castes mentioned are Darzi, Kija, Singhal, Nai, Musalman, Mehtar, Gadauliya Lohar, Dakaut, Sagh, Teli, Kumhar, Rajput, Mali, Mochi, Kothari and others. Physical characteristics: A handmade notebook with green and red cloth cover with papergrid pages containing handwritten notes with blue and black ink.
