[Personal diaries and notes of Komal Kothari]

This is a notebook containing notes and personal writings of Komal Kothari. The first few pages contain plot structure and notes on Pabuji epic narrated in 'Daval' tradition by Mokuramji at Sri Dungargarh, Rajasthan followed by a note on the Jogi community and their rituals related to their deity, Bhairoji. A note documenting exegetic commentaries on the playing of Pungi collected from artists. The notebook also contains transcription of many songs and Kathas sung by Ledaram Nayak and Aduram Nayak, Bhagwan Nath and Shravan Nath, and Anadaram Bhil followed by transciption of Pabuji ki Varta narrated by Parbhudas Kamar from Padarla village. The last few pages of the notebook contain notes on recording of Sindhi lore sung by Maula Khan and Nihal Khan. Custodial history: Collection of Komal Kothari, housed at Rupayan Sansthan.
