मदकर'

This set of handwritten pages contains texts of 11 traditional songs from Rajasthan. The songs are titled "Madkar", "Kamangaro Kanji", "Lunagar", 'Halariyo", "Dhumaldi", "Lahariyo", "Nimbooda", "Rumal", "Kesariyo", "Bannado", "Gangajal" and "Bhojal". The set also contains copies of these texts marked for proof reading and a loose translation into English of "Bhojal" and "Gangajal" songs. The set also mentions Khairdin Manganiar, Barkat from Hameera, Jaisalmer and Murad as well. Custodial history: Collection of Komal Kothari, housed at Rupayan Sansthan. Extent and format of original material: 1 set of 33 pages. Physical characteristics: Handwritten with black ink. Written on single side except for three pages. Paper is fragile and has turned yellow.
