Title in Burmese: ဓမ္မစေတီပဉ္စမဝဂ္ဂ.
Title in Thai: ธมมเจดีปัญจมวัคค.
Title in Mon: ဓမ္မစေတဳပဉ္စမဝဂ်.
Transliterated title: DHAMMACETĪ PAÑCAMA WAG.
Palm leaf manuscript of what appears to be the fifth section of the history of Dhammacetī, a king of Pegu. Text is incomplete and missing leaves. Identification of title is based on title written in felt-tip marker pen in Thai. This is one of the very few historical texts found.
Extent: 1 bundle, incomplete, approximately 60 faces front and back.
Condition of original material: Stylus-inscribed palm leaf manuscript, with no ink rubbed into etching. Leaves of uneven length because some of have broken in half, leaving out much text. Leaves have hardened so much that they are warped, making complete photography difficult, as was focusing. Because of rarity, reshooting desirable. Given state of collection (on-going repairs) it may be worth seeing if they have other sections of the text.
Custodial history: Handwriting is Thai Mon, so manuscript is of local provenance.
