This palm-leaf manuscript is a religious work from Nallur, Sri Lanka. It is a copy of “Nalavenpa” (Story of the king “Nalan”in poetic style) consisting of sentiment of love. Originally translated from Sanskrit by Adivirarama Panditan of Tamilnadu, India. The Original work belongs to the 16th century. As the current manuscript is a work in a different style of poems, this is probably a different version of the same story. This manuscript could be dated to the 18th century.
