This volume contains baptismal records of free, freed (forro), and enslaved people registered in the Church of São Vicente de Paulo, Araruama-RJ. Entries date from 31 Mar 1855 to 24 Jun 1860 . There are no opening or closing charters. The color and social condition of the bapitzed are recorded in the margins next to the individual's name. The following clergy signed the entries: Thomás Antonio de Mattos, Jacob de Santa Maria Magdalena Leite, and Francisco Azevedo de Britto.
